About the Project
This is a beautiful site, with a backdrop of mature trees providing shelter from southerly winds. The house, nestled against the trees, opens out to entertaining areas and a large sunny field to the north.
The home is laid out so that all living areas and bedrooms take advantage of all-day sun in this spacious setting. The sculptures featured in the landscaping were created by the Owner.
The variety of shapes, textures, materials and tones on the exterior are enhanced by the changing play of sunlight, and provide the feel of an outdoor room for the entertaining area which has easy connections to the interior living spaces on this sunny north side of the house.
